Privacy Policy
How JKA Logic LLC handles information for the Seats website and watch service.
Who we are
Seats is a product of JKA Logic LLC ("JKA Logic," "we," "us"). This policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Seats website at seats.jkalogic.com and the Seats watch service (together, the "Service").
What Seats does
Seats is a search and notification layer for live event tickets. You create a "watch" describing an event, and we email you when tickets go on sale (and, as we add data sources, when a matching listing appears). Seats is not a ticket seller, and any purchase is completed on the ticket provider's own website.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your email address, which you give us to verify your watch and to receive notifications.
- Your watch criteria, such as the event and the alert type. As we add price-drop and seat-level alerts, this may include sections, the number of seats, an acceptable row range, and a maximum price.
- The contents of any message you send us.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, our hosting and content delivery provider processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your request, in order to deliver and secure the Service. If we use a bot-protection check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our forms, it processes data needed to distinguish humans from bots.
Fonts
Our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts. When they do, Google may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts.
How we use information
- To operate the watch service: to create and manage your watches, and to send you verification and alert emails.
- To secure and maintain the Service and prevent abuse.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including Cloudflare (hosting, our database, and bot protection) and Resend (email delivery).
When you search for an event, your search term is sent to our ticket data providers (such as Ticketmaster) to return matching events. We do not send them your email address for that purpose. When you click a link in an alert to buy tickets, you are taken to the ticket provider's own website, which processes your information under its own policies and may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies and tracking
The Service does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Bot protection and essential functions may use limited tokens. Ticket providers you click through to set their own cookies under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
- You can unsubscribe from all emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can view and cancel your watches using the manage link we email you.
- You can email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete your information, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.
Data retention
We keep your watches and email while they are active. When you cancel a watch or unsubscribe, we stop sending related emails. We retain limited records as needed for security and to meet legal obligations, then delete or archive them.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Where we operate
JKA Logic LLC operates from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
