FAQ
Questions, answered.
What Seats does, what it costs, and how your watches and email are handled. If you do not see your question, email [email protected].
What is Seats?
Seats is a search and notification layer for live event tickets. You tell us an event you care about, and we email you when it is worth acting on. Seats is not a ticket seller: we do not buy, hold, or resell tickets, and any purchase you make is completed on the ticket provider's own website.
What does it cost?
Seats is free to use. When you buy tickets through a link we provide, we may earn a commission from the ticket provider, at no extra cost to you. That is how we keep the service free.
What alerts can I get right now?
Today, Seats sends on-sale alerts: tell us an event and we email you the moment tickets go on sale. Price-drop and seat-level alerts (specific sections, seats together, an acceptable row range, and a maximum price) are in development and will arrive as we add authorized data sources. We will never advertise an alert we cannot actually deliver.
Which events are covered?
Coverage depends on the authorized data sources connected to a watch. Which sources a watch covers is always stated plainly. As we add more sources, coverage grows.
How do I create a watch?
Go to Create a watch, search for your event, enter your email, and confirm. We send a quick verification email to make sure it is really you, and once you click the link, your watch is active.
Do you sell tickets or set prices?
No. Seats never sells tickets and never sets prices. Every purchase happens on the ticket provider's own checkout, under that provider's terms and fees. Tickets are never reserved by us, and any listing we email you about can be sold or repriced by the provider at any time.
How do I manage or stop my alerts?
Every email we send includes a link to manage your watches and a one-click unsubscribe. You can cancel a single watch or stop all emails at any time.
What do you do with my email address?
We use it only to verify your watch and send you the alerts you asked for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Do you guarantee a ticket, price, or seat?
No. Seats is a notification service, not a guarantee. We cannot promise that a particular ticket, price, section, or seat will be available, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a ticket provider.
Who runs Seats?
Seats is a product of JKA Logic LLC, based in the United States. Questions? Email [email protected].
